Organization Background:

“Women Now for Development” is a feminist, women-led NGO dedicated to deepening and strengthening the role of women in Syria and neighboring countries, by enhancing their social, economic and cultural participation.
WND was founded in June 2012 in response to the conflict in Syria and the ensuing humanitarian crisis. Today the organization implements programs in four Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS): two in Syria and two in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, reaching thousands of beneficiaries annually. WND is working in four integrated program areas she :
• Protection – psychosocial support,
• Empowerment – education and vocational skills training,
• Participation – leadership training and rights awareness
• Advocacy and campaigns – at the local and international level.
At Women Now, we are starting from the ground to empower ourselves and the community around us in order to bring about significant and long-term change.



Monitoring and Evaluations

Participate in development and updating of monitoring and evaluation tools, databases, and formats for monthly reports in cooperation with the MEAL coordinator.
Conducting verifications and data analysis to ensure high quality, compiling a report with relevant indicators for each grant, and comparing the achieved results with the values ​​planned to be reached in the work plan.
Providing appropriate, quality, and timely support to field staff in the process of M&E duties (questionnaires, assessments, tools, and needs assessments).
Providing advice about data management and storage for field staff.
Monitoring the overall implementation of the project and providing feedback to the MEAL coordinator
Providing documents and share main results from monitoring and evaluation and other learning activities with the MEAL Coordinator.
Collect and save success stories, photos, documents and files.
Attend and participate in meetings and provide learning updates, achievements and challenges.


Ensure that basic information and services provided inside/outside the centers reach the beneficiaries using different methods (posters, induction sessions) in order to ensure that all members of the community have enough information and properly available services.
Work with the administrative team in the centers to ensure that the organization’s standards are included in the induction sessions, whether they are directed to employees or beneficiaries.
Collecting and separating the monthly complaints and comments according to the organization’s accountability policy, and classifications according to the project and the information required, writing data then sending it to the accountability coordinator to analyze and issue monthly comments/complaints reports.
Participation in the meetings concerned with the accountability department.


Turkish citizenship is preferred
Bachelor degree in appropriate field

At least 3 years of work experience in the monitoring and evaluation field
Experience working on protection projects.
Experience in analyzing and managing data in women’s projects and from a feminist perspective
Good working level on KoBo and other related software
Good experience with Microsoft programs
Advanced level working in Excel
Experience working with Google Drive applications
Experience in preparing and writing reports
Very good level in English and Arabic
Turkish language is an added advantage
